In 1981 I decided to settle in the hub town of the island in the exact location of where this photo is taken. Having lived all but a few months of my life on various parts of the island I quickly became aware of the opportunity that could exist in this magical place. From the shoreline to the mountain tops we knew this environment was survivable, plentiful as well as replenishable. We would live here amid friends and respectfully establish a quality of life by providing services that were essential to other new comers so this vision for me became my ultimate career goal. 

   Today this plan is still valid as we are fortunate enough to be able to provide many of the same opportunities to others that are seeking this unique lifestyle.We are happy to share our experience and loyalty towards island life in Southeast Alaska.
